A mammoth day of action in the 15 & Under Boys division saw Victoria Blue solidify their label as division favourites.
Ladder leaders Victoria Blue were convincing winners over New South Wales Country 124-74. Reiley Mark was prolific for the victors, smashing 38 runs in a partnership of 56 and taking 3/2 from his two overs.
Caleb Arnold’s 31 runs and 1/9 saw Queensland comfortably defeat South Australia 135-79.
In the most competitive match of the round, Western Australia were six run victors over Victoria White 92-86. With both sides currently sitting on the bottom of the table, they'll be viewing finals action from the sidelines.
The ACT were narrow victors over New South Wales Country 98-89. Ethan Fitzpatrick of the ACT was the best for his side with 20 runs and figures of 2/6.
Despite receiving a strong challenge from New South Wales Metro, the class of Queensland’s Jacob Verstegen (19 runs & 2/1) and Paul Draheim (23 runs) was too strong for the challengers; the score finishing 124-102.
When the two potential favourites of the division met, Victoria Blue confirmed what thought true, smashing the second placed ACT 137-85.
In the final match of the round, an Oliver Styles led South Australia (21 runs & 2/9) defeated New South Wales Metro 108-94.
Tomorrow's Semi Finals (15 & Under Boys)
Victoria Blue will meet the Australian Capital Territory in the Major Semi Final, with the winner progressing to the Grand Final and loser meeting the victor of the Minor Semi Final.
The Minor Semi Final will see New South Wales Country and Queensland will battle for a spot in the Preliminary Final, whilst the loser will say goodbye to their hopes of claiming a title.
