Following the completion of divisional finals across Australia, ten men’s teams split across two pools and five women’s teams will compete in the 2019 National Indoor Cricket League (NICL) Finals series in Queensland this week.
Over $45,000 in prize money will be up for grabs, including a grand prize of $10,000 for the winning men’s and women’s team.
The Finals series will see thirty seven matches played at Action Indoor Sports Toombul with play commencing on Friday 30thAugust.
In the third year since it’s inception, the NICL has seen some of Australia’s best cricketers ply their trade with over 70 men’s and women’s teams competing in their states in 2019.
The finals series will provide a good hit-out for members of Australian teams who will tour New Zealand for the 2019 Trans Tasman Series next month.
A worthy mention, Cameron Boyce will be back in action following claiming his first national title at the 2019 Indoor Cricket National Championships. This time Boyce will be captaining the Strathpine Burras as they look to claim their inaugural NICL title.
